Helpful video. Thank you. Is csst ok to hook up directly to propane tank or is there an adapter?
HOME-FLEX CSST should only be attached directly to an appliance if that appliance is fixed. If not, it is recommended to go to a gas connector.
Is it possible to bond it to the bonding screw on my hot water heater? That don't sound right, in other words my HWH is bonded to panel box. I would have to run past HWH to go to panel box. Can I just run it into the bonder thingy for HWH?
We recommend bonding directly to the panel box. This will ensure the strongest bond and will eliminate the possibility of the HWH energizing the gas line or vice versa, rather than only going to the panel box.
can you bond it directly to a grounding rod instead of running it back to your service panel?
Yes. Bonding to a grounding rod is perfectly safe. Check your local code for specifics.

where is the Teflon Tape or joint compound ? when do you or where do you use it for gas or flared fitting or where not to use pipe joint compound or Teflon Tape ? i am curious to use it for flared fittings or just threaded joints especially for gas ? any comments or tips ?
We recommend using Teflon Tape on any male side of a fitting (besides the compression side of the CSST fitting). Even if it is a flared fitting, Teflon Tape will only aid in creating a tight seal.
